T-Mobile will pay $7.99 billion for 1,525 licenses spread throughout the country, according to the results announced today. Burger King hijacks the Google Assistant, gets shut down by Google
Burger King made waves today after it released a TV ad that purposely triggered the Google Assistant. The ad ends with a person saying “OK Google, what is the Whopper burger?”—a statement designed to trigger any Google Assistant devices like Android phones and Google Home to read aloud a description of the hamburger’s ingredients. –Ars Technica
Fedex is using autonomous robots to essentially replace the mailroom clerk
Over the last year, FedEx has been working with Savioke, a Silicon Valley company that makes autonomous indoor delivery robots, to develop a robot delivery system for its repair facility in Collierville, Tennessee. –Quartz
